More and more libraries are using virtual reality as a teaching tool and for fun. Occulus Rift is a popular virtual reality device that transports the user to somewhere else. Many people like to test out technology at before purchasing it, and the library provides the perfect place to do just that! Facebook just bought this technology so I think that it is only to get more popular in the near future. As it gets more popular, I think the quality will also improve. Soon we may not know if we are sitting in our local library or at the top of a rollar coaster across the country.

Many people also visit virtual worlds on their computer that allow them to immerse themselves into another world. You can hop online and meet up with your friend in the Library of Alexandria like it was never destroyed! I think that libraries will continue to add more computers to their inventory in order to keep up with the demand.
